McLaren 570S - Novitec Treatment

There are few cars available that provide the presence, performance and the value of the McLaren 570S. Despite this, as enthusiasts we are always looking for ways to make our cars even more special. Enter Novitec and their spring and wheel spacer offering.

Our experience with Novitec has been solid, installing several of their 458 spring setups on customer vehicles. The 570S lowering option eliminates wheel gap by 30mm while still utilizing all factory dampening and lift configurations.

Novitec spacers add to the vehicle track width, complimenting the lowering springs to provide the perfect look as well as aid in overall performance. The spacers are made of high strength aluminum and anodized for corrosion protection.

996 Turbo - The Works

Back to our roots: The 996 platform is what started our Porsche fascination at Rstrada in 2002. With the first model nearing 16 years old, an abundance of excellent aftermarket options are available. First off, we installed a Europipe turbo back exhaust to help the car breathe a little better.

After the exhaust, Bilstien PSS10 coilovers, Eibach swaybars and Torque Solution end links were installed to address all handling concerns.

The 996TT also received a minor maintenance overhaul while in the shop. Spark Plugs & coilpacks were replaced along with the stock airfilter - with a BMC high flow version. Minor details were tended to as well: The Brembo calipers were refinished in OEM red along with new pads and rotors to compliment them. The stock 996 turbo twists wheels were stripped, repainted, and new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires were mounted & balanced.

Ferrari F12 - Novitec Treatment

Subtle changes are everything. This 2016 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta came in for Novitec lowering springs & spacers on all four corners. With a drop of 20mm all around & the wheels now filling the gap, it’s not only more aesthetically pleasing, it performs better as well.

Scart Exhaust - G-Series

Handmade & hailing from France, the Scart g-series exhaust systems provide the '74-'89 911’s with a melody unlike any other aftermarket exhaust. 4 different pre-muffler options and two sport mufflers setups allow you to completely customize to your specific taste.

For sheer pitch - the test pipe coupled to the super sound muffler is the loudest option. The 400cell cat matched with the sport sound muffler provides the quietest alternative.

*Please note that test pipes are for off-road/track use only.

Here are three different set ups we tested at Rstrada. Audio was recorded with an external mic near the muffler outlet & synced with tachometer footage to better show the exact audio level at RPM. Now sit back & enjoy the beautiful flat six symphony.

By definition, an image is simply a picture that is produced by a camera, artist or mirror. A good image will capture the feeling of what it was like to be there, a reminder of a different time perhaps. An incredible image; which Unique & Limited is in the business of creating, will move your soul. This is when an image truly becomes Art, a living, breathing masterpiece.

Lucky for us enthusiasts, Unique & Limited happens to focus on automotive history

Unique & Limited produces images in large-scale format and detail that wasn’t available at the time due to the limits of technology. Based out of Prague, CZ – the artists at Unique and Limited go to amazing lengths to produce and recapture a specific moment. Utilizing a combination of photography and CGI, Unique & Limited remasters events that photography couldn’t capture vividly at that point in time. Fine points such as patina on the vehicles, to the fabric on the models clothing is scrutinized to ensure a proper feel. The level of detail is simply remarkable.

Until this past weekend, Unique & Limited’s presence has been limited to exhibition booths at concourse type events. An opportunity to work with us at our Torrance location provided the perfect gallery for Unique & Limited’s formal premier on US soil.

With an example of virtually every image available from their gallery on display in varying sizes, Unique & Limited had their full arsenal in one place for the first time.

A single night to showcase the amazing pieces from Unique & Limited is simply not enough time. That being said, the Unique & Limited gallery will continue to be displayed at Rstrada, with prints available for purchase as well.
